In my previous post on Ways to Stop or Reduce Pimples Naturally - Stop Acne Pimples was really a successful one of my articles. In this article, I'll let you know few home remedies in preventing or removing pimple scars or acne scars. These remedies are purely natural. I'm sure you'll find a solution out of these 10 ways to get rid of pimple marks.
How to remove pimple scars or acne scars?
1. Sugar scrub
This is an easy and simple scrub for a glowing pimple free skin. This scrub removes the dead cells which are responsible for those visible pimple scars, i.e., it works as a natural exfoliate.
Ingredients: Sugar, honey and milk powder
Procedure: Mix 3 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp of milk powder and 1 tbsp of honey and scrub it on your face for a few minutes. Then, rinse off after fifteen minutes.
2. Egg white
Egg white is very good at removing pimple marks or pimple scars. It is easily available too.
Ingredients: Egg
Procedure: Break a fresh egg and separate the yolk from the egg white. Apply egg white on the pimple scars. Wash with cold water after 15 minutes.
3. Baking Soda
Apply the solution of baking soda and water on the pimple scars. Baking soda is a good micro dermabrasion on the skin and assists to clear the pimple marks on your face and body.
4. Aloe Vera and turmeric pack
Aloe Vera are rich in nutrients, enzymes and polysaccharides. These work as anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agents and helps to remove the toxins present on the skin. It also works as a skin moisturizer and balances the moisture levels.
Turmeric is an amazing exfoliating agent with anti-inflammatory properties, and helps in removing pimple scars.
5. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil works best when you are suffering from acne scars. Apply the tea tree oil gently to the pimple scars and leave it for few hours. It can cure the acne scars and prevent the outbreaks.
6. Lemon face pack
The contracting properties of lemon work sensational for the acne prone skin. It is rich in vitamin C and this adds to glowing skin.
Ingredients: Lemon juice and glycerin
Procedure: Squeeze a half lemon and mix it with glycerin in 1:2 ratio. Apply this solution on your face and you'll find a positive remark about your pimple scars.
7. Neem face pack
Neem is very good for the qualities of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is a natural astringent too.
Ingredients: Neem leaves, milk, fuller’s earth or Multani mitti and turmeric powder.
Procedure: Grind the Neem leaves and add 1 tbsp of fuller’s earth, ½ tbsp of turmeric powder and adequate amount of raw milk. Mix them and then dab on your face. The anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric powder in addition to Neem and milk helps in preventing pimple scars.
8. Sandalwood face pack
Sandalwood is the best thing that can prevent pimple scars when it is mixed with rosewater. Apply sandalwood pack to find better results.
Ingredients: Sandalwood powder and rose water
Procedure: Take 3 tbsp of sandalwood powder and mix it with rose water to get a paste. Apply it using finger tips and leave it for about 15 minutes. By applying this face pack everyday at nights will give you pimple scars free skin.
9. Honey and milk pack
Ingredients: Honey, milk, rose water and turmeric powder
Procedure: Take 2 tbsp of honey in a bowl and ½ tbsp of turmeric powder, 2 tbsp of milk and a few drops of rose water. Mix and dab on your face and leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse off with water.
10. Citrus face pack
Citrus fruits like orange,lemon and tangerines have the astringent property which flush out the acne bacteria and provides a nice skin tone.
Ingredients: Citrus fruit extract, water and Multani mitti
Procedure: Mix 2 tbsp of Multani mitti to 1 tbsp of citrus fruit extract and add a sufficient amount of water to it. Then, apply it on your face and wash it with water after 20 minutes.
